About Epistema

Research provenance translated into a disciplined product claim.

Epistema studies how human, artificial, and hybrid systems construct and govern knowledge, then turns that work into practical evidence tools for accountable AI-assisted workflows.

The foundation

The product claim is intentionally narrower than the research program: determine what one AI-assisted workflow can responsibly support before it becomes an organizational commitment.

Research informs the architecture. Implementation tests the architecture. Real workflow evidence and commercial use pressure-test both.

The founder

Epistema was designed and built by Yves Le Goff, drawing on three decades in enterprise technology and services—from quality assurance through professional services and program management for global technology vendors.

The practical throughline was being called into work that had already stalled and helping return it to a working state. Epistema applies that same investigative instinct to AI-assisted work moving quickly while leaving too little behind that an organization can inspect, explain, and stand behind.

The company is early-stage and independently built. Its grounding includes independent research on constructor-gated reachability and a U.S. provisional patent application filed in June 2026 for the underlying AI Workflow Intelligence framework.

Epistema is built to be inspected rather than taken on faith—the same standard it asks of AI-assisted work.

Operating principles

  • Implemented evidence outranks planned architecture.
  • Evidence should remain observable, attributable, explainable, and challengeable.
  • Carrier diversity is expected; semantic discipline is mandatory.
  • Model output is not automatically organizational commitment.
  • Human judgment remains accountable.
  • Commercial success is evidence of utility, not proof of truth.

Scope

Epistema complements privacy, security, compliance, observability, and AI-governance systems. It does not replace them. Its responsibility is to transform approved workflow activity into governed evidence that supports accountable decisions.
